Ive been following this on the stat tracker while mowing. I need to get up to speed on a few things.

1. The wind is howling out and anything up could go out yet the Cubs have grounded out in 5 of the last 6 at bats.

2. Darvish has 93 pitches and has not been great but the wind has also helped aid some balls. A position player was sent down and another pitcher was brought up in addition to another fresh arm to help a shitty, but rested bullpen. Joe is going to completely waste an out letting Darvish bat? That just seems like an odd game of chess he is playing.

Yea. With our bullpen, what does it matter?

Better chances with Darvish vs our pen.

I blame Joe for that homer. Yu went 7 and you bring him out for the eighth?

Dietrich having a great year. Getting out of Miami like Yelich made him a whole different player.

He is very relaxed and great in the clubhouse from what I hear.

This makes absolutely no fucking sense Joe. I thought he was done after 6, you squeezed a great quick inning out of him in the 7th and then you hang him out to dry in the 8th? Thats a middle finger straight up Theo's ass by Joe if you ask me.

I always thought he was a decent player and was shocked to see him have to sign a minor league deal get a job this spring. There is something in the water in Cinci though. Scooter Gennett was let go by the Brewers and he became one of the best hitters in the NL last year with tremendous power.

I am not sure what you guys expect Maddon to do. Is there anyone in the pen that he can trust right now? The answer is no. So I can see exactly why he tried to get Yu another inning.

There are guys I would trust over bringing Yu back after that many pitches. I still think She Shack is solid even though he sucked yesterday. Brach is usually ok. Kintzler would be good on a day like today where you want ground balls. Collins was fine when he was up earlier this year. I would let any one of the other starters keep going in that situation but not Yu. Theo also gave him an extra arm and a fresh arm today and he basically told him to keep em. If he gets the message across to Theo with that power move then I am good with it.

Hughes was a pile of crap for the Brewers last year. Bote finally got one that wasn't on the floor of the zone and did some work with it!!

Big Country with a quality at bat right there. He has proved me wrong and been pretty good at leadoff the last week or so.

2 run lead.....what's it going to be. Maples will for sure walk the leadoff guy. I don't want Carl. She Shack is probably off limits after yesterday for Joe. I think I would go with Kintz or gamble on Maples not throwing 10 balls in a row.

Wrigley has been quite the Pet Cemetary for his season considering he was completely awful this year before this series and now he is on base every damn inning.

I do not like Chatty here. He has been great this year but he is a fastball all the way guy and the reds are going to sit on it and get a hold of a few. You need to pound the bottom of the zone with junk today.

Can’t remember a team carrying 14 pitchers and only 3 bench players.
