That is all.

should i start castro in my fantasy league this week?
lineups lock on mondays, it's not a daily change so i'd be stuck w/ him all week

Unless your starting SS is injured (Renteria for example) it seems a bit risky. Without knowing who represents your other options, it's awfully tough to say.

Starlin might be able to hit,I'm concerned with making ALL the plays at SS.
The Sox had that young kid (Mike Caruso?) a few years back. One good year, then disappear. So who knows?

3 errors tonight. Fielding is suppose to be the easy part of the game.

Im thinking he was nervous. I didnt get to watch the game but I understand the fans were booing him. Im not a big fan of that.

Wrigley fans think they need to boo everything now.

I suppose its better than "not caring"

His start has been very Tuffy Rhodes-esque.

He had somthing like 38 errors last year in the minors. Of course the field got blamed, that's BS. He should be at 2nd base not Theriot. When after a year of that, then move to SS. He is erratic in the field just like I thought he was going to be.

It is not.

Good call.

The Cubs need better talent evaluators. They need to bring in that guy who thought it was a great idea to draft Joe Borchard in the first round and who gave him the biggest signing bonus ever at that time.

Borchard was a tremendous bust.

However, he was also traded for Matt Thornton. Not a bad haul in that sense.

Castro has the true range and arm a SS should have. Theriot does not. Thats why they want Castro to take over SS. However, early on things have not gone well defensively for Casto. But in spring training he looked good and there is no reason not to believe he won't get straightened out on defense. The team is doing bad enough, that there should be little pressure to make a change. His development is key to the future. The future is all that really matters, as they are not likely to contend in 2010 anyway.
