Nice 5-0 lead. I didn't expect that with Wandy pitching. It should be more but Soriano hit in to a home to first double play with em loaded and no one out.

it seems like people wait for him to fuck up and then point those occasions out and ignore that he has been their best source of power so far this year.

i hated his signing from day one, but have come to grips with what he is going to do. play shit defense, look bad at the plate pretty often, and go on streaks of good power and production. as this team goes, ive got relatively few issues with what he has done so far this year.

He really doesn't bother me that much. I'm used to him and he is what he is at this point. He has been hitting fairly well this year and. His lack of execution in the simpler situations is frustrating at times, but he has had his good moments too this year. I also give him respect for being willing to work on things to at least try (even if it doesn't work) to get better. That is something some other veterans refused to do last year.
