Damn the umpiring crew chief for not caring about this!!!

A friend invited me through tickets he received from work. So I'm not bitter about my money. You had people slipping and lacking good jumps on balls bc of the wet bases and turf. Then let's also let the paying customer who sit in rain for 6 innings. Great.

Yea, I am mad the night turned out crappy. Baseball is just not enjoyable in the rain like football.

Positive run differential and second worse record in baseball. This team could easily be a .500 team if the right investments were made.

which part of that equation is with the team next year, knowing it is dominated by the activity of the pitching rather than the offense?

Doesnt matter. They find pitchers every year. Theo is magic.

Jedstein whiffed on selling Schierholtz. He'd be a great piece as a 4th OF, PB/PH for a contender. They could've sold high on him and I bet gotten a toolsy underachieving reliever like Strop or a relieving prospect. Instead we're stuck with him stinking up the joint with his poo poo play.

Kalish needs to be taken off Boston scholarship. He sucks.

Unlike previous coaching regimes who didn't teach their players how to play defense according to one former player, Ricky and his crew need to get on Welington. The motherfucker can't catch a ball. He's a pretty stocky dude so just get your fleshy part in front of the ball big cat.

So playing Olt everyday has yielded positive results? Interesting. Why Jedstein and Ricky thought they needed to baby a 25 year player is beyond me. Mickey mouse tactics.

Leads the team in HR's and RBI in a 100 ab's. Not awful. Of course his Dunnesque .183 BA blows goats but not the kind you walk for cancer.

.190 BA !! Steadily climbing.

.730 OPS

He has an OPS over .900 in May.

What kind of reception did Soriano receive? I forgot to ask. Bernstein was all up in arms that he'd better get applause or the Cubs fans are idiots.

I'm not watching - listening to the radio. What is Rizzo doing?

I didn't catch the audio much last night. Not sure.

But this would be one of the few cases Bernstein would be correct.

Anyone who booed Sori last night is an idiot.

Rizzo has swung and been hit by the pitch 3 times in these 2 games. He had this happen twice in his last at bat. You really have to be swinging at shit for this to happen. The pitch last night hit him in the back leg, up in the quad area, so that was how bad that pitch was.

Where the hell would we be this season without Bonifacio? He's been almost everything you want in a leadoff hitter.

He has been pretty awful lately. He was great to start off the year, but he has been hitting .231/.265 this month.

Is he better than anything else the Cubs have? Yes. Is he really anything more than a super-utility player? No.

Poor Shark and Pat Hughes. The dejection in Pat's voice is probably from the expectation that this game is going extras. Bye bye dinner plans.
