Huh? I was complimenting Stone. It looks like he was right.

If steve stone said "They look to be very similar players" then he would be right, but he didn't. He watched one Rizzo at bat in Spring Training and from that, projected the guys entire career.

I was kidding anyway. Steve Stone is a moron.

i watched some rizzo last year and thought "no way in hell will he survive" with that big looping swing he had. Dude has made some major adjustments. he's one of the small minority of players that actually are able to adjust.

This is why you always error on the side of caution with young players some of whom have been rushed somewhat. Rizzo had a shitty year in 2013 and everyone was ready to call him a bust. Last season the pitchers adjusted to him this year he countered back and look at the result. Castro the mental AAHD patient. Seems to have grown up. Give young players at least 3 full seasons before judging them.

There is currently no player in the league who is "far superior" to Abreu!

25 year old (100% certainty), red ass team leader, all star slugging 1st baseman.

Thank God for genius Theo and Jed.

You just have to hope this isn't a fluke.

Rizzo has two nice half seasons and two bad half seasons. The jury is certainly out on his future

No, not really. Maybe for you, though.

I think most readily accept he is going to be a pretty good player.

I'd be more worried if the two nice half seasons were right away and then followed by the bad seasons. He had a bad season last year and has rebounded nicely this year. I'm optimistic.

I'm not quite ready to say he's gonna have the same career as Konerko, but if you feel comfortable with that I won't stop you.

I could point out a handful of flaws in that statistic but you probably already know that is one that you throw away.

Dolphin's thoughts on Rizzo combined with his lips being glue to Gillaspie's ass make me laugh

Dude made a decent career out of having good halves of a season. Every single year.

He's Italian. That's why it was a lot of noise followed by no activity.

Remember when Rizzo was hitting above .300 with an OPB above .400?
