Here is the lineup for the bullpen day
S. Castro ss
D. Barney 2b
M. Byrd cf
A. Ramirez 3b
J. Baker 1b
G. Soto c
A. Soriano lf
R. Johnson rf
J. Russell p

Castro back home to the leadoff spot and Pena is on the bench where he belongs. It really doesn't matter what the lineup is though with this bullshit attempt at another bullpen day.

Why do they keep starting Russell over Marshall?

...because Hendry is the GM. I am fine with them keeping Marshall in the pen, but there is not reason at all that one of the starters in Iowa already on the 40 man roster has not been called up. This is giving away a game every 5th day.

Hey MR.Baseball how are you going to trade two guys with a no trade clause in their contract?

You can ask them. I hate those no trade clauses. More Hendry failure.

Man, today's a value day... it's shit weather. I'm tempted to take a floater and head out to wrigley and get one of those $8 tickets and see Jhoulys Chacin pitch.... to use a Boersism, he shoved it up the Cubs' giggy last time.

Yeah, but I'm too lazy to do that right now. I know if I head down there I can get a box office ticket for $10 with tax, or I could always hold out til ~15mins b4 first pitch when those ticket vendors right by the L will sell me a nice ticket in the lower-dish for $5ish... hell, they did it that one day you and spanky were out there for Starlin Castro bobblehead day, and that was a nice ~55-60 degree sunny day... it's still raining here but the radar looks like it's going to clear up.

Arghhhh choices and decisions; politics and religions.

I think people wanted the shark sent down knowing very well that he was out of options and would thus be waived and claimed or traded. Somehow though...he has actually gotten some guys out recently. Since wgn doesn't show shit for games anymore I only see internet gamecasts when he is in. I would love to see if he has actually harnessed some type of command for his 2nd pitch or if guys are swinging at garbage out of the zone.

God damn...Coleman has as good of a shot at getting on base as do Hill, Colvin and Pena. Jeff Baker is going to have to continue his hitting of epic proportions to give them a chance to win.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT: only people named "roy" waive their no-trade clauses. it's hardwired into their DNA once their parents take the plunge and name them "roy"

Isn't Jeff Baker: Three-Hole Hitter a drama on the Ion network? I think it airs after that Dick van Dyke crime-solving-doctor show.

This looks like a nice piece of shit.

The rain agrees and therefor unleashed its fury upon Wrigley.

And it is very common for them to say no also. But I will leave the name calling and superior baseball judgements to you. How would you rebuild this mess O great one? You seem to know it all.

Hendry's a bully, he can make it happen...just like he bullied Sammy "Sex with" Sosa out of town

Pena is on fire. 16 bombs and 42 driven in. I thought he would have Dunn like numbers still, but he seems to be figuring it out.

Maybe keep given his defense and to help Castro's development/confidence in the field? I'd consider him if he'd accept a 1 to 2 year extension at 8M per. There does seem to be a lack of quality 1B right now unless you want to pay megabucks to Fielder. I don't think they have any hot prospects for 1B so maybe target one via trade?? Is Hendry capable of that??
