Look all superstitions aside, the guy almost cost the Cubs the World Series. He pulled Hendricks too soon. The Indians couldn't hit him. Lester did settle down, but the Cubs should have won by at least four runs if Madden managed the game better with his bullpen moves.

A win is a win. But bad coaching is bad coaching. The main thing that gave the Cubs a second chance was Chapman's pitching after he gave up the lead and the rain delay. It was like the power outage in the Super Bowl that gave the 49ers a better shot at beating the Ravens.
