2016. Watching replays of the last out I wonder how close he came to throwing that ball away as he slipped when throwing it.

Congrats Cub fans. It will be fun for you guys to watch him.

I can't speak for other Sox fans but I don't think I was he will be shit for sure. I was more that the prospects are not all guaranteed to be HOFers.

Either way, again, enjoy. He sure is good and not FA eligible until 2020 or something.

What I wonder about Bryant and some of the other young players is whether the Cubs will pay them the big money when they become free agents.

Win the World Series, have two of the top 3 Cy Young pitchers, the MVP, and STILL have White Sox on the brain.

Sad.

I really couldn't give a shit about that at this point.

The Cub won the fucking WS.

So, serious question. Did he take part in any of the champagne celebrations? If not, what in the world did he do?

I know when the Sox won in 2005, Willie Harris could not because he is allergic to champagne (which had to have sucked), but thats a lot different than just being straight edge.

Bernsie said yesterday he partook in none of the champagne or other "silliness".

Vance Law. That's it. Didn't someone on this board make that statement? I couldn't remember who the player was that named, and I think it was Vance Law. I guess Bryant is lucky. So far anyway. Ha.

I don't believe anyone ever compared Bryant to Vance Law. But enjoy your imaginary message board.

And he is wrong again. I think even Scorehead has a better record that Bernsie.

Maybe he just didn't drink anything.

I said a year ago that we had just seen the tip of the iceberg and he would be an MVP and be nominated for multiple MVP honors (finalist) so I am not a bit surprised. I believe he will have better seasons ahead too. He's a special talent.
