I like the way you TITLE this thread.

Go Cubs!

I believe the Cubs are .5 games out of first? I'm hoping they leave town in first place & that Bryant starts to heat up.

Reds have been Bryant's personal bitches so this series should get him going

Time to get things squared away as they should be, with the Cubs in first place. Hoping Almora gets more starts in this series than the Saturday start against the lefty. He should start in CF every day.

Almora should be in there often, but it is due to his superior defense and improving ability with the bat. Fairly sure you have a different reason for wanting him in there.

I said before the season began, that I think he will win multiple gold gloves and be the best CF in team history. Plus, he hit a point higher than Fowler last season, and I believe he will hit enough as well. Plus, I think he's an excellent running the bases. That is why I want him out there.

And he hit 3 (!!!) points higher than Carlos Correa did last season!! Wow! Batting average certainly is telling the whole story here. Great point. I wonder why people shit on your baseball thoughts?

Break down that psych profile. And insights on his feelings towards both the Cub and Tim Tebow would be much appreciated.

Can't be giving up 2 run doubles to the opposing pitcher with 2 out.

Lester's velocity looks to be down this year.

How much could we expect from a man who was purposely tormented by his dad from the day of his birth? The extra "h" in Thom's name and branded on his right buttcheek was a reminder of who is and always will be the number one Brennamen.

It ended up having a bigger effect than Marty anticipated. In grade school, Thom tried time-after-time to make the high school baseball team, but time-after-time, they mistook his name for that of a female. Finally, after years of toiling, Thom made the varsity softball team as a catcher. He was on cloud nine. But that confidence took a large hit when he he was pummeled by a freshman girl at home plate and cost his team the championship. Later that night, he nearly died after drinking a bottle of Bacardi Pineapple Rum. He was found passed out in a dress and high heels.

College was no better, and things went downhill quickly. Thom started smoking opium to distract from the pain. He would never be his father, and he would never live down the night he just tried to be pretty.

Thom graduated and got an internship with the Cubs after rejecting an offer from the Reds to be a "ball girl," according to the paperwork filled out by Marty.

Thom took it as a personal slight and vowed to surpass his dad as a broadcaster... And he was on a trajectory to do just that. He subbed for the legendary Harry Caray and became close friends with color man Steve Stone. Unfortunately, he faced another setback when he was found in a Wrigley Field bathroom with a Steve Stone Playgirl fold-out.

Eventually, Thom gave up on surpassing his father and decided to join him. They now occupy the Reds broadcast booth together, and Marty frequently reminds him who is in charge by making him vacuum the booth in high heels. Thom has murdered no less than 20 children from high risk homes after hog tying them and making them pose for photos in his basement.

Always fun to watch a reliever come in and nibble at the corners with runners on.
