It's just so sweet when the two things happen on the same day, as so often has been the case over the past 3 plus seasons. I felt it needed it's own thread, to celebrate these happy occasions. Tonight, the Sux lost in agonizing fashion, as they blew a 7-3 lead and lost in extra innings 9-7 to the lowly Tigers. Meanwhile the Cubs triumphed 8-0 against the rival Brewers up in Milwaukee. Beautiful!

Outstanding weekend. The Cubs win 5-2 on Saturday (trailing 2-1 going into the 9th) and win Sunday 3-0, while the Sux lose 6-1 Saturday and 1-0 Sunday!! I knew their bullpen sucked, but to score just 1 stinking run all weekend.....geez that's :lol: :lol: :lol: :oops:
