That was 1983.

The Cubs fans that attend day baseball at Wrigley today are no longer "Nickel and dimers".

Good for those "nickel and dimers" in 1983. Ripping the shit out of those Cubs. Elia even said they were 5-14 at the time.

Ya totally different fan base in 83. Mostly drunk losers at Cubs Park at the time.

The current group was born in 1984 and that 84 Cubs team. They've been living off that ever since. That 84 season started Cub Nation like the 68 season started Red Sox nation.
