I do not advocate firing the manager but maybe unloading Russell and Schwarber and Happ and listen about an offer for Kris Bryant if it's out there. Moves have to be made. The BP gave a valiant effort all season even losing two main cogs. The HC needs to be launched. It's time for some changes at Wrigley but not too many.

The Kris Bryant thing stems from his questionable toughness to battle every slight injury and also the haul he might get you NOW!

Gordon Wittenmyer on m&h near the end of the 3rd hour wed nailed a lot of cubs topics. Very honest talk for the score. Bruce Levine was on earlier and it was his usual Cubs ass kissing.

I don't listen that closely to the Cub talk but Whittenmeyer does seem to be more open and actually have an opinion that makes sense.

I opened this thread so I'm not spewing my angry, crazy Cub thoughts in 8 other threads.

Why did Hendriks throw a .144 hitter 3 straight change-ups. Toss the little shit your version of a fastball at that point. That kind of stupidity was hard to watch.

Why didn't Joe tell Gore "do not swing on that 3-2 pitch???" His chances of drawing that walk far outweighed actually getting a hit.

Why were the Cubs getting out of the way of so many inside pitches. Christ, lean into one at any point with the bases loaded or even Gore there in extras and we've got some runs. Bunch of pussies.
