He did appear in 81 games before the break. Now granted you had some pinch hit games in there, and maybe the odd OF/1B game, but that's still a lot of mileage to put on your backstop.

Maybe he's off the peds. He's hit a few balls he thought were out and admired them before realizing they were only warning track...probably not accounting for reduced muscle mass.
