If they sign Machado, he should be installed at 3B with Javy staying at SS. Machado is NOT a great SS but is great at 3B. Javy is the better SS( obviously Bryant would move to LF, with Schwarber and/or Haap traded ). The point in getting Merrifield would be that he is a leadoff hitter that steals bases. Machado does not fill that gaping hole in the Cubs lineup. Fuck the homo bullshit. He didn't say anything of any real substance and this is about putting a World Series contending team together, not one competing for Miss Congeniality.
