I wonder if the refusal to extend Maddon is an indication that Theo will be leaving soon and him not wanting to hamstring the next executive with his decision

by the way, I heard on the radio somewhere last week hosts talking about Joe Maddon as if he was a sure fire Hall of Famer

One world series and some decent teams get you into the Hall as a manager these days?

Earl Weaver is in with one WS title. He had 1480 wins and Maddon has 1167 so I'd say it wouldn't be that ridiculous.
