I find it curious that during this period of outrage toward Joe Ricketts and his inflammatory emails there is going to be a big event at the United Center that is receiving very little attention. In a few days the Nation Of Islam, a group the SPLC has called an extremist group and a black nationalist group, will be holding their Saviors' Day event at the United Center, privately owned by both the Reinsdorf and Wirtz families. I assume that United Center owners are not letting people use their arena for free, so where do people stand on the Wirtz and Reinsdorf families profiting off a hate group?

I assume that the Wirtz and Reinsdorf families do not espouse the same beliefs as Louis Farrakhan, but the collective silence in the media, news sites etc, is somewhat intriguing.

It’s the same cognitive dissonance that lets people clutch their pearls about Joe Ricketts’ views on Muslims and the Cubs getting Daniel Murphy but ignore Muslim views on homosexuality .

And btw, if we go down the rabbit hole of why its wrong for the Cubs to work with Sinclair, were just going to end up at a point where you wont be able to defend Jerry's association with them, so its really in your best interest to just stop posting about it.

Just to clarify : " Stadium is a digital television and internet sports network operated as a multi-platform sports network." So the White Sox owner is indeed partnering with Sinclair in a sports network.
