We have heard for over a week now from the team that he is not involved in the operation of the Cubs. The media have given full throated apologies for the team using this idea. Those same media now owe it to their consumers to investigate whether what they reported just last week is true.

He provided $900 million to purchase the team. He most likely recruited their much anticipated media partner. He fucked up $150 million in municipal subsidies. Yet we are to believe he has nothing to do with the organization.
