The Iowa Cubs are in the process of closing out a game just like the big league Cubs. 4 9th innings walks. They finished it though 5-4. Webster had a nice set up inning. Maples was the walk machine. My point is that managers don't really matter. When he was hired I can remember arguing with Darkside and telling him he would hate him soon enough. The Maddon of today is exactly the same manager who bought drinks at Cubby Bear oon the day when all Cub fans were so happy that Renteria got a raw deal.
