Nice start, didn't see how they scored but it's 3 zip early, even this buster can't cough up that lead to the worst team in baseball. ( I hope)

That's why Almora needs to be in CF every game.

Darvish hit 96

Starlin is only a dozen hits behind miggy for their careers. This shitbag just walked a guy to load the bags.

Wilson just pointed at his eyes wide open while looking at Darvish .... is that racist?

Too much nibbling. This is a last place team with maybe three major league guys in their prime, and one is sitting tonight (the starting C they got for Realmuto).

Baez owns MLB basepaths on offense and defense.

Most would think Heyward is just having a hot streak and it will quickly end but pitchers are legit being careful with him if not pitching around him entirely.

His swing is different, I'm thinking he has a career year.

6ks for Yu, this could be a legit confidence builder if Joe doesn't leave him in too long.

He’s starting his swing a touch earlier according to an interview. He does not have a compact swing so maybe it helps with timing. Doing a better job with strike recognition too supposedly. Small sample size

I don't think so, he looks determined

Does someone want to maybe inform Willson Contreras that the number one job of a catcher is to you know , actually catch the ball

He loaded the bags 2x, he gave up a 420 foot bomb to wallach. It could have gone down much worse. His velocity is up too.

Baez is one hell of a base runner. Twice tonight he got to 3rd because of excellent reads and hustle.

Every now and then he fucks up. But he's the best in baseball on the bases.

That was a good one to get. Yu made progress. He is now a serviceable 4th starter. He got into some deep counts on some extremely borderline pitches he did not get the call on. Instead of melting down and walking the guy or give up a jack he battled and got strikeouts both times IIRC. Good to see Bryant get an extra base hit. Progress.....too bad the brewers are parking balls left and right at the launching pad tonight.

If he's just a serviceable 4th starter that's bad. You don't pay 25 million for that.

He was a below average 5th starter last week!!! He is working his way up through the rotation.

Joe likes to yank him way too early. Let the guy go 7 or 8 innings every now and then. It will build his confidence when he does it. And he could have done it tonight. The Marlins suck.

In fact, Joe kills his confidence when he takes him out in the 5th or 6th.

He had like 98 pitches!! He has given him more of a leash with each start.
