They have legit pitching now though. If Votto was having a "Votto" season, they would be second in the division by now. Pythag says they have been very unlucky.

I remember a series last year where the Reds swept the Cubs, though they were in last place and everyone was thinking a sweep while possible, would likely be completed by the Cubs. This is exactly the thing Theo was talking about before the season. Every game is important and cannot be taken lightly. I am hoping for 2/3, but if they want to sweep the Reds and repay them for that series last year, that would be great. Odd their pitching has been this year's strength, when in the past couple year's it was their offense and the pitching was their weakness.

In thoery the lineup is a good idea because lefties kill Roark, just an inopportune time for Rizzo to need another day off, Heyward to be slumping, Descaso turning back into a pumpkin and Schwarber to be well Schwarber.

Javy saw 6 pitches and not a single one of em was anywhere near the zone. He's 3-2 and grounds out to 2nd.
