Out of the pen dude is pumping 97 consistently and the walks are down...do you move him to more high leverage role(possible closer) or do you just let things be?

Let things be. Until the end of the 1st half/trade deadline to see what the bullpen looks like.

It's an unexpected surprise. Give him a shot to close one game and see what happens

Cishek has been great closing games recently. I wouldn't fuck with that right now.

I would give him the opportunity. He has closer stuff and is commanding his pitches.....why not?

Uh, probably because he's walking more than 5 guys per 9 IP.

Last thing you want in a closer in high leverage situations is to start giving the other side a bunch of free base runners.

the cubs have a history with these guys:

Carlos Marmol, Carl Edwards Jr, etc. Guys who have great stuff but wise hitters just sit back and wait for strikes....

Carlos Marmol was one of the most dominant relievers in the game for a couple seasons. Lou just ran the guy in to the ground and he was overused.
