What's with this 6:30 and 6:40 local start times?

NO GAMES SHOULD EVER START BEFORE 7:05 PM LOCAL TIME, AND PREFERABLY EVEN 7:35PM.

IF YOU CANT STAY UP TILL 10 OR 10:30 PM TO WATCH A GAME THEN U ARE A PUSS.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WITH START TIMES BEING MOVED EARLIER AND EARLIER. PEOPLE WANT TO BE ABLE TO BREATHE AFTER WORK BEFORE GOING TO A GAME. NOT HAVE TO LEAVE WORK EARLY AND RUSH JUST TO HAVE TO GET TO A GAME BY 6:30 OR 6:40 LOCAL TIME.

I have to disagree. I like being able to watch the game at an earlier start time. Being able to watch the game and not be tired as the game reaches the late innings and getting a good night's sleep works for me.

Baseball is actually trying to push up starting times around the league this season. Fox Saturday baseball and ESPN Sunday Night Baseball are two examples of that, with 7 PM ET starting times, no matter where the games are played.

This is only a BCB poll, but fans around the country seem to agree.

I really wish the NFL would have MNF double headers starting at 6pm Eastern on Mondays.

First game is for any home team playing on the Midwest/eastern/south/south eastern half of the US vs. whoever.

Second game is a west coast home team vs. whoever.

Have the west coast games start at 915pm or so.

8:45 is too early. Just because guys like jimmypasta wants to goto bed early doesnt mean the rest of us should suffer. We want time to relax, eat dinner, pre-party a little, anticipate the game, read up on the day's news, and instead what do we gotta do? We gotta rush to watch a ballgame.

Not only that, most of the ballgame now takes place in broad daylight. Fuck that. I want my swirling winds and deep-night darkness back.

Fuck all authorities that made this change.
