I don't really believe whole series can be gut checks in baseball. Maybe individual games but not a whole series. The most likely outcome of every series is that one team wins two games and the other team wins one with very little actual movement on the macro level.

This weekend could get U G L Y

During my past trips up to ST LOUIE, the boring city, the gathering of Cub fans does upset the BUD Drunkards. While the COOB fans will be outnumbered, they are a fiesty bunch and I would guess no less than 3 quality police intervened scuffups. Which means the issue will really get out of hand, as in the past the CARDS, when not doing well, dont employ enough people to handle these games. parking will be terrible, lines will be long and when any disagreements starts security will be limited to the guy who holds open the door for the smokers to walk in and out.
