hard to believe this team has lost 2 to the Padres. I knew they were improved this year and were not an easy out, but lately they have been letting go of the rope and not playing as good. So I really thought the Cubs would easily get 3 and maybe 4 of these games. Now theyre in danger of a 2-6 trip.

One other thing about the Padres, for all their struggles over the years, they do seem to consistently produce good relievers out of their farm system year after year. This guy that pitched the ninth looked like he was ready to bite someone's head off. And of course Yates is dominant.
