its just a generic game

However, if you like listening to a few cheerleaders who laud everything the players do I suggest the radio broadcast.

When Cubs launched Steve Stone they kind of set the expectations for what they demanded from home team TV broadcasters, keep it vanilla, don't question the players, manager, or front office. Makes for a boring broadcast.

"Almora strikes out swinging... good at bat for Almora."

"Cubs making excellent contact with the ball tonight." (Cubs losing 5-0)

stone sucks. the broadcast is fine and they certainly do criticize poor play. they just dont do it in a way to make themselves seem like theyre the smartest baseball mind ever a la stone.
