I think Lee Smith had the straightest fastball in history.

Ball never moved side to side. or up and down.

Always just seemed to be a straight, blazing fastball right into the catcher's mitt.

This worked when younger.

Then as he got older with St Louis, he had to develop a slider. Well they called it a slider but to me it always looked like more of a curveball.
