Right.. strangely familiar to the years of quade, Sveum years of waiting out bad contracts and signing reclamation projects to dump at deadline for younger reclamation projects.

Williams may have some potential, it's tough to figure out what the Pirates' coaching staff does to young starters. Charlie Morton was an absolute bum as a Pirate and did fine after that.

For a #5 starter he is fine. It's clear that they intend to start Marquez at AAA and limit his innings and service time, and then bring him up after the All Star Game.

Hendricks, Davies, Mills, Alzolay, Williams.

The real weakness is Mills. Davies would be an acceptable #3.

Not even in the bottom 5. Angels, Mariners, Pirates, Rangers, Orioles.
