This is common now. MLB likes to cancel games early in the day with the threat of rain. It's probably the right way to go in Aril and May. Even if they could have played it's gonna be 40 or 50 degrees with howling wind. The fans don't want to go to these shit weather games anyway. Most are happy to get a refund or another game later in the season.

I think it's nice to inform them early so they don't have to drive to the damn park only to have it cancelled while they sit through rain delays.
