Listened to some of the Colorado radio broadcast. During a Heyward at bat they talked some about his Cubs stay. Brought up he's been plagued by many injuries making success impossible. Chicago media & fans arent too hard on its athletes like some cities. Actually said he was a victim of his contract he couldn't live up to. They were told by Cubs insiders he's responsible for the WS game 7 win by his passionate rain delay pep talk. Good stuff.

Wisdom on fire

I love Wisdom, but he feels like Fool's Gold. He'll continue to tear it up the rest of the year, earn himself a Bote deal, and then go into the toilet next year.

In my short time observing Wisdom, it is clear he has a really nice swing. It is smooth and in the zone. So many of these guys are pulling off balls.
