It will be interesting when Heyward comes off IL. If he one of the worst hitters in MLB has any impact on Morel's playing time or positioning. Morel is hitting 235 playing INF, 353 CF. Remarkable that during Heyward's Cub stint this is the only time a teammate pushed him being on a hot streak playing his same position.

Adrian Sampson got DFA by the Mariners, I could see the Cubs bringing him back on a minor league deal for depth, and then DFAing someone like Leiter to bring Heyward back.
