That seems like an odd complaint?

he was ruled safe, but it didnt amount to anything. no reason to challenge something like that in 1st. especially one so close it might have not been able to be overturned

I saw the replay it looked pretty clear to me that he was safe.

So you are upset that they won a challenge?

You always extend an inning when you have the chance.

Of all the things to be bothered by in regard to the Cubs right now. Odd

i wouldnt say he was clearly safe. it boiled down to what the interpretation of "in the glove" means.

my issue is challenging that type of call in the first inning. not that they got it right

Does this apply to the ol' intentional walk on a 1-2 count?

Depends on if your coach is awake or not

Kinda ironic highly respected Vin Scully tape singing "take me out to the ballgame" introduced by neutered announcers for a team trying to lose.

No fake injury IL for Bote. Sent to Siberia. He's only owed what a piddly 10 mil. Different bannishments for how much the bad money is I guess.

This Miami series starts a soft 12 game stretch (Wash, Cinn, then Wash again). Wash & Cinn 2 worst MLB era.

Another shitty contract from Theo. Must have been mesmerized by his "hard hit" percentage.

cubs DFA simmons and then brag they can call up bote in a heartbeat. ok. mckinstry showing us already why the dodgers wanted to get rid of him. wisdom is #2 in the NL 3B errors and #2 in striking out. combine that with ADHD ABs schwinnie and pathetic hitting rivas at 1B and the corner infield positions are inferior to most. brutal.

given all that, good job by the cubbies beating some tough marlin pitching. hoerner blossoming and contreras may win his first C silver slugger. agree with the cubs in not giving away a free all-star C/likely 2022 C silver slugger to the mets/rays. he may not resign, strange relationship between the cubs and contreras, but no reason to give him away for nothing. fuck them, good luck against playoff pitching with nido and bethancourt.

Marlins have hit 10 home runs in the last 28 games with a 553 OPS. Aaron Judge has hit 14 home runs in that period. The previous seven games plus today's the Marlins have scored nine runs.

Marlins hit two homers in the last eight games. Then hit two home runs on 2 consecutive pitches against Sampson
