NOBODY gave a fuck when the Nats came to Wrigley.

And I mean NOBODY.

I was the only poster for it.

How bout this time?

Happ homers and pushes his .OPS back over .800.

Looks like we got Sutcliffe on color again. Good. Now if we can get rid o' Boog too.

Apparently the Nats havs Isbaldo Valdez or some shit, I believe he was a former Cub garbage player last year for a couple months.

Sux that Bully Hoyer has littered Cub history with a buncha usless garbage one and 2-month players.

Fuck them and fuck him.

Washington signed 41 year old Nelson Cruz to 15 mil guaranteed this spring. DC not a lot of FA options apparently.

Smurf unable to get his fourth win.

Official scorer just changed a hit to an error on McKinstry (who sucks), so all four runs charged to Stroman become unearned. So he’s got that going for him.

Must be tanking strategy frequently giving stiffs Ortega & McKinstry AB's over Velázquez. Sutcliffe calling it like it's game 7 world series. He also steers the pitchers how & where each, yes every pitch should go.

McKinstry with two defensive mistakes leading to all four runs. Not a good look for him.

WTF?

I hate Stroman's guts, but why take him out?

Here's a veteran pitcher who needs just one out to get out of a fuckin jam, and be in line for the win, let him do it!

So u think Leiter is better? Bam! He gives up the lead.

Let the pitchers pitch! Give him a chance to get the fuckin' win!

He's also a terrible hitter.

Who the fuck is he? He looks like some retread castoff from another team.

Will be another 2 month garbage player. Im sick of this bullshit by Bully Hoyer.

Bad money (60 mil '23-'24) Patrick Corbin tonight. Hasn't made it out of the 1st inning 2 of 3 last starts (25.44 era). '21-'22 13-32, 6.29 era, 1.61 whip. Washington isn't protecting him dumping him on the IL (6 days) the last 2 years like Heyward (111 days). No using data to shield him and buoy his stats these last 2 years (54 GS near MLB high).

Wonder why Corbin isn't being in-house "great guyed", or set up with a inner-city tax shelter charity to deflect the bad money?

Remember the last time the Cubs were in DC?

The trades of Bryant and baez were completed.

Then all Marquee did after the game was rave about that one Mexican pitcher who pitched an inning. He was part of the "future"

What happened to him? Where is he this year? What a joke the media was, tryin' to celebrate the trade of World Series stars, and hailing a garbage rookie pitcher who was quickly recycled.

I know it's minor, but the lack of integrity regarding the ads/sponsors is really irritating. Zaidman was going over the highlights of today's 3-2 win, and after playing Gomes's game-winning hit, Zach said, "the insurance run brought to you by Gallagher Insurance." Insurance run?

We know these incessant ads during play-by-play and every other possible nanosecond of open air time are now a fact of life, but stop forcing them down our throats when your cute reference doesn't apply.

the best part of this series is that CJ Edwards got the fuckin WIN in the first game.

He moved to 4-3. A banner year.

I remember reading the Cubs postgame has up to 75 sponsor mentions in a ten minute show.

two very real possibilities - Zaidman is Ron Burgundy-esque and will read whatever is presented to him without thought and/or Zaidman doesnt understand the concept of a game winning RBI vs Insurance run.

Maybe both.
