Who did more for the Chicago Cubs?

Parkins, Meat and Crew actually had a discussion yesterday about this topic.

They were split 2 for Ryno and 2 for Sosa

What say ye CFMB?

My opinion is that it is Ryno and it is not even particularly close.

But I am old and all that yadda yadda.

Sandberg probably did more for the team.

Sosa did more for the organization as whole and Wrigleyville.

I'm gonna go with Ryno because that's the teams that turned Wrigley from an area and park mired in an annual miasma into the party atmosphere that allowed Sosa to thrive.

Following this you should be voting for Harry Caray.

Sosa saved baseball. Ryno was a cuck.

My vote would be for Sosa. It was a lot of fun watching him from the mid 90s until the early 2000s, which was a majority of my college career. The 1998 season was my senior year and I worked at a local bar as a short order cook and nothing was better than making food, drinking and hanging out with the bartenders, and watching baseball a couple of times a week. I'm sure there is room for both of them to get a statue but Sosa should get one first.

He wasn't on the ballot.

Will Sosa's statue come with a detachable corked bat and partially destroyed stereo?

I was 10 when I first started watching the Cubs in 2001, so it's Sammy for me. The guy was electric and hit bombs. He's the reason I went to games. It was fun watching him play baseball. Sandberg seems like a nerd.
