Now we know after the dust has cleared that the last white sox administration was great at screwing up prospects.
the no rules club house, guys doing what they wanted to do, promoted laziness and a don't care attitude.
Just like when Eloy was asked about leadership and he didnt give a shit :

I was thinking today what if Eloy was never traded to a shit organization that screwed up prospects like the whitesox. What if he stayed a cub under Theo and the current regime's tutelage .
Would be have reached the lofty expectations they thought he could achieve? I think he would have def been better than the lazy fuck he is now.
As for injuries, the big mistake the white sox made was not putting their foot down and saying HEY MOUTHERFUCKER, YOU'RE DH FOR LIFE! WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT THAT YOU WANT TO PLAY OUTFIELD. YOU'RE NOT. BECAUSE YOU'VE PROVEN YOU GET HURT OUT THERE.
No, again, as we know now, there were no rules. They let the inmates run the asylum.
I think the Cubs Brass would have put their foot down and had him DH for life. It would have cut down on his injuries. Also, I think the cubs training staff wouldn't have been as bad as the whitesox one is.
Best thing for Eloy would be getting traded in the offseason and starting fresh. But maybe he has been poisoned by the wsox - like Quntana was when he came over to the cubs.
