If it gets started, but tehre is serious doubt about finishing it, then they should start Marquis. That way you've got Zambrano for a full game on Wednesday. Or maybe they should have kept Marshall up just in case, and used him. Or maybe I'm crazy.

Anybody want to guess who was nearest the camera for Ernie Banks' statue ceremony? (Besides Banks, smartasses). There he was: smiling, hugging, shaking hands, taking young ladies phone numbers.....

How the hell can there be a rain delay on a Roger Bossard field? (Did anyone else notice that they (WGN) seemed to purposely show the water collecting on the track as Kasper was talking about the new drainage system?)

Man, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I always forget how much I love baseball when opening day rolls around, and then I'm hanging on every pitch again. I'll get a little bored again by May, but still, what a game.

0-0 after one inning, seasons over, they needed to jump out to a lead and Lee strikes out again, what to do. Man they are just awful, its over, I cant beleive it, doom, doom and more doom. :lol:

Actually Z is looking sharp today, sorta nice. After getting to watch Kendall last year, I would say Sheets might be a better hitter.

Can anyone honestly give me a good reason why Jackson was there with Hall of Famers Banks, Williams, Jenkins and Hank Aaron? I didn't realize Jesse had such an impact on Banks' career
