I have not heard anyone talk about this...or ask this and I am not sure why. Maybe I just missed it...or it was talked about when the new enforcements came out.

Sooo...Cameron comes off the 25 game suspension list and tears the cover off the ball. Questions are...

what are the terms of the suspension? Can he practice with the team? Does he stay & travel with the team? Stay in spring training? Minors?

In football you are completely cut-off from everything. This guy was way too sharp for someone who missed 25 games.

I'm not sure of the terms, but I would assume that he can't do anything more than workout with the team (if that).

Typically players can workout with the team and take BP but cannot be in the dugout or clubhouse once the game starts when they are suspended.

I've heard them do that bit but I don't understand it.

He also played 3 games in the minor leagues prior to being activated, which is what the Cub's should have done with Soriano. That's why Cameron had his timing and was hitting so well, in his first game back. I will not be at all surprised if Soriano strikes out 3-4 times tomorrow as a result of coming back without going on a rehab assignment in the minors first. That was something Sosa used to do, when he came back from an injury too. He didn't want to go play down in the minors and get tuned up, so he would get his timing back simply from playing in major league games, where he would commonly strike out to the detriment of his team.

The biggest positive for Milwaukee in having Cameron back, is his defense. That Milwaukee team has a less than stellar outfield defensively. Cameron decidedly improves that outfield.
