Rich Hill is a head case, he really does need to go to the Minors and figure this out. He walks 4 of the first 6 batters he faces, and gets the quick hook. What a way to start a series, going to need the bullpen to eat up 8 innings. Also, another collision involving Pie and Theriot on a fly ball.

Brenly with some biting comments toward Pie.

Can't disagree.

His at bat was bad, swung at a curve that went about 55 feet. Pretty sad when Zambrano pinch hits, and has a better eye for the strike zone.

I turned the game on as Carlos was in the middle of at bat and was thinking wtf, didn't he pitch last night and hit a homer.

It looked like Lou wanted to murder him.

Soriano just caught a fly ball without his burrito hop

Can't wait to hear Lou's comments after this game.
27 pitches and Hill only found the zone 10 times, mostly on accident by the looks of things.
But, he was pitching a no hitter.

Pie is over-matched and has no reason being on the Major League roster.
If the Cubs self scouted well, he would have been traded to some sucker GM that thought he was worth a damn. He used to have value before the rest of the league found out he could not play.

Totally agree on the Pie comments. he looks straight up lost with a bat in his hands. He never really could bit major league pitching. He's just flingin'.

Pie just needs to be sent down and forgot about until they can trade him, send Hill down for 3 starts, if he doesnt figure it out move forward. They need to put Johnson in the leadoff spot, its not that hard to figure out, Soriano will just have to deal with batting 6th.

Can anyone other than Soriano come up in a critical situation?
Just roll it up there, he'll swing at it, fuck.

Down a run with 2 outs, Soriano batting, runners on the corners... and strikes out swinging on a 60 foot pitch?
Terrible![/i]

Howry against the meat of the Cardinal lineup, not too promising.

Nice, let the hanging belt high breaking ball go, but swing at the one that bounces. He has come up his last 3 times with men on and the best he has to show for himself, is a fielders choice. I really wish they would quit saying its hard to come back from a long lay off and hit in these situations, he should of taken a rehab stint then. No free pass from me. And as I type this, he lets another ball land in Left. He needs to go, hes starting to tie Lou's hands like Barrett did last year.

Brenly is pulling no punches, kudos to him. Critcal of Soriano, and Piniella's move to take out Cedeno.

And did they say Pujols was given a hit, talk about hometown scoring.

You must take out Soriano now.
You can't leave him in this game.

Lou needs to call time and take this fuck out. Do like Bobby Cox did to Jones a few years ago. He has let 2 balls land this inning. If hes in the lineup tomorrow, I'm going to quit watching for the weekend.

It's time for maybe a Lee or fuck even Zambrano to get in Soriano's face and tell him this shit is not acceptable.

I'm really losing respect for Soriano as the days go by. He needs to tell them he can't play. He's hurting the team, and hes really making himself look bad. A Little Leaguer could of caught those 2 balls tonight.
