I have now heard Joe Cowley and Steve Stone (both of whom I have liked everything they do) bring Gracies name into this whole 'Dollgate'. While they try to defend the sanctity of the Locker Room here they are tossing Gracies name around. This 'Slumpbuster' thing was one of the all time great "GUY" only inside jokes.

How can these guys come on the air , talking about the privacy of the locker room and then toss Gracie under the bus like this?

I hereby suspend Joe and Steve from the Chicago Mens Club pending a full review of the statements.

I really don't have a point by mentioning this other than to say that Stone was weird for doing this.

Big Fan, I don't think they're throwing Grace under the bus. I think Grace admitted to this "slump busting" in some publication a few years back.

He discussed it openly so others can certainly comment on it.

What was Grace's slumpbuster? I must have missed my Cub update somewhere along the line.
