The Brewers suffered their 5th straight loss, first under new manager Dale Sveum and reduced the magic number to 4 games before they are tossed out of the division race but remained upbeat tonight. "We have them right where we want them," said one player who kept safe distance from Fielder and Sabathia as they shared their post game bowl of meat. "I am sure the Cubs are feeling over confident right now because we've rolled over for them 5 straight times in head to head competition .Heck they even played better than we do on our home field...they're ripe for the picking."

Ryan Braun's half hearted effort to chase a ball in the left field corner in tonight's game was part of the Brewer ploy to play possum. He told espn.com that nothing fills an opponent with a false sense of security like loafing.

"That's why we got Sabathia," one player said. "To lose big games down the stretch to the team right in front of us in a clutch series. He's a gamer."

For his part,Sabathia took the loss calmly, wondering what the post game spread will be like in the new Yankee Stadium next year, and what size uniform pants the Bronx Bombers will provide. "If we go out and tank tomorrow against their 5th starter, they'll REALLY think they have us! That would be really really funny. Then we'll come back and win every remaining game and they'll lose every remaining game and we'll win the division and hopefully go deep into the playoffs. Yeah, that's whats gonna happen---ask Dane Iorg...he knows all."

The Brewers say they don't want to watch the Cubs celebrate the division championship on their home field (the Cubs) after watching the Cubs celebrate a no hitter on THEIR home field (the Brewers) this week. "Watching them celebrate is really making me hungry," Prince Fielder said.
