I told my co-workers yesterday that I had a bad feeling about Dempster last nite, but that I have total confidence in Zambrano tonite. It's gonna be cold, I predict no more than 1 ER off of Z tonite. Whether the Cubs can score 2 is another issue though.

I know it sounds crazy but I think the loss yesterday actually helps Zambrano and his focus. I think he is going to be great tonight.

I wish I was as confident. I saw a total of 2 losses this year at Wrigley out of 16 games. Both of those came with Z on the mound...and in 1 case the Cubs had a 5 - 0 lead over the Pirates. I will be there again tonight and have ZERO anticipation....either good or bad. All I can do is go, watch, cheer, and hope the Cubs come out on top.

Z must go 7 innings tonight, that way we can go to Marmol. Besides Marmol and Wood, this bullpen is really bad, and even those 2 have been inconsistant lately. Hopefully they will have a 3 or 4 run lead to work with, especially Wood, who gets wild in big spots.
