An owner that has the same name as a bone disease resulting from a calcium deficiency. Does anyone really know anything about the guy? The thread given here, leads to another website that requests that you log in. I'm not going to go to the trouble of becoming a member on that site. So who knows anything about Ricketts? Also, can anyone else confirm this?

From the little that I have heard, I think the Ricketts would be a good choice. Tom Ricketts has supposedly been in & around Chicago for a long time, and I believe I heard that he met the girl that would become his wife...in the bleachers at Wrigley. For whatever the hell that is worth. More importantly, they seem to be sound financially and have made strong business decisions in the past. Can that translate to the business of baseball? It can't be worse than the tribsters.

It will be nice to point to an owner instead of a tower or group for a change.
