I guess Hendry really is going to trade DeRosa.

edit: Bruce repoting DeRosa is going to the Indians for 2 or 3 young pitchers. Seems like a lot for a guy in his walk year.

Miles will be nothing but a backup for Theriot and Fontenot.

Vizciano...Aaron Miles. Hendry wants all of the old Sox castoffs!

Miles will primarily be used as good rhyming fodder for Teinowitz parody songs.

He did a good job the last few years. He was about .315 with the Cardinals and has some speed. So thats a nice back up, in the event Fontenot does not work out as well as is hoped. Gotta have a plan B.

Heard Stone say he may be the leadoff man. If this happens, then this is no improvement. Miles is a utility man, at best. Another shit move by Jim.

im curious, would it still be a shit move if the prospects the cubs get for dero go towards getting peavy? im not being a smart-ass, im just saying:

peavy/miles>dero

i loved derosa, but if dealing him and replacing him with a very versatile miles leads to peavy, im good with it, depending on the other pieces that would have to go to san diego. ESPECIALLY if what i have read is true about the signing of bradley.

Boy that Stony really brings the good info now! lol

Miles isnt even planned to start, but he MIGHT? leadoff?

Did the Score resign him to give his weekly uninformed report of "I didnt see the game, but I talked to some people and they said"

Maybe we can have the "people who know Steve Stone show"
