Yes, Eagles and Philly fans have always comported themselves with total class, sportsmanship and honor.

I see not one fan wearing any sort of Phillies' garb in that picture. And if something like this happened at the Cell (or In Philly to a Cubs player), there would already be 4 threads bitching about it.

I guess trash in Wrigley (on and off the field) is so commonplace, nobody seems to give a shit.

Does anyone know if SHARK was the person who broke this story on the internet?

The cool thing about Frank is that he never lets a joke going over his head prevent him from making an asinine comment about it.

The fall guy has a little Harry Teinowitz in him.

Its true. You can bet $10 to a donut that if a Sox fan throws a beer at a KC or Oriole outfielder next week, ElmerSteve, bigfan, or spanky would start a thread about it not more than 90 seconds after it happened.

Child, Please

The "homo" looking dude in the bottom right of the photo looks like Harry Teinowitz.

And justifiably so.
Just like this asshat deserved to have a thread in his honor.
But ONCE AGAIN, and unrealated Cubs issue turns into smalldicksoxfan posts. This had nothing to do with the Cell or their fans. But somehow, somewhere in your crazy head it had something to do with the Cubs.
Drawing connections to unconnected events is a sign of Scitzophrenia.
But again, the reference to the Philly fans has to do with certain Santa Claus and Battery related incidents. Batteries are more dangerous than beer. When thrown.

The beer thrower got thrown out as well. He was pointing at himself saying it was me to a security guard while mini harry teinowics was gettin tossed.

They got the right guy
and then they threw out the mini-tein for being a douchebag

Not to mention the Philly Fans cheering because a player is lying unconscious and immobile on the football field. Class-Less!

And I suppose the picture that douchebag posted has something to do with the Cubs, Darkside?

You northsiders are funny.

What picture, the one of those fun loving clean cut soutsiders in action? Well, Coz, you sort of asked for someone to do that. The rest of the pictures, save 10 cent beer night, were Cubs.
Frank, you are a total goofball. Sometimes, I think it's an act. But then sometimes, I think... why would anyone want to look like such a goof all the time?
You're my guy though. You're just all right by me.

Unlike the 1st base coach, who was permanantly harmed in that incident, Victorino just got a bit wet. Apples and Oranges....It was poor sportsmanship, but you have to give the guy some credit for his aim and timing. Pretty impressive that Victorino was able to stay focused and make the catch.

Oh, ok Steve. Its OK to throw stuff as long as players/coaches on the field don't get hurt. That makes sense

Listening (reading) is a skill. Apparently one you have not developed. I said that the act showed poor sportsmanship...it's not okay. But it is decidedly less egregious to throw a liquid on someone-which causes no physical harm, than to beat a man so severely that he has permanant damage from the beating. It was actually a good thing Victorino completed the play. Had Victorino dropped the ball, it's very possible the umpire calls fan interferance and sends Marshall back to 3rd, rather than the run scoring-not that it really mattered much at that point.

When do opposing outfielders not get doused in beer.

When I take a look at this board as a whole, this is the type of logic that continues to blow my god damn mind.

He CLEARLY said it was poor sportsmanship. The fact you think that means he thought it was 'ok' is absolutely alarming.

Un-friggin-believable.

He said it was poor sportsmanship, but also threw praise at the guy. So Steve is just like the idiots that were cheering the beer throw last night.

Of course I saw it...but he negates it by saying that it was a great throw, and praising the timing the dude needed to have.

There's drunken assholes everywhere, and idiot fans on both sides of town, but people like Steve are the prime reason why Cub fans are stereotyped the way they are.

I'm assuming the you gotta appreciate the accuracy of the beer toss was said tongue in cheek. He doesn't approve of what the guy did, but also correctly realizes that beer is not as bad as batteries or storming the field and going after a coach/player/ump.

You are trying to paint Steve into being a drunk idiot at Wrigley who was high fiving the dude who threw the beer when he's given you no evidence at all that he's anything remotely like that.
