Carlos Torres (0-0, 6.75) vs. Ryan Dempster (8-7, 4.15)

Looks like another easy win for the Cubs.

Well, I still want to see "W"'s and the Bears don't play for another 6 hours after the Cub game starts. So there.

Darko, just smoke a fatty, then time matters not and neither does the Cub, which is a good thing at this point.

There is wisdom in your words, wise old man. Perhaps you're not ready for the wrinkle ranch just yet.

Carlos Torres pitched well in AAA this season and I expect that trend to continue against the cubs lineup tomorrow.

With the way both teams have played over the last 2+ weeks, there is absolutely no such thing as an "easy win" for the Cubs or Sox.

I predict at least 3 Sox errors, at least a dozen Cub runners left on base, 3 blown saves by each bullpen, and then Lou and Ozzie agree to end the game in the 15th inning tied at 8 in the Crosstown Series of Suck.

I predict a big ol' bag of suck, no matter who is on the field or in the box.

It can't end in a tie doesn't this game decide home field advantage in the World Series??

Well, it will likely be on 12 errors by the White Sox.

That's a good point. I didn't take those into account. I still don't see the Cubs leaving 12 men on by the time you factor in a couple D-Lee base running errors and 1 out at 2nd for Bradley for lack of hustle.

I think Dempster tipped that fastball to Pods. Should be an interesting game... a comedy of errors, if you will.

It was kind of apropos

Bad defense by fukudome

and bad base running by beckham and the future DH

pretty much right on par for the season...
