It sure looks like it, Apologist. Even though Hall-of-Famer Brooks Robinson has said for years that Ron Santo should be in, the baseball writers and MLB's Veterans Committee beg to differ. He can appear on WGN or Comcast SportsNet's "Rain Delay Theater" when there's a delay in a Cub game next season holding up a sign saying "Will Work For Hall of Fame Consideration", and it still won't matter. He surely doesn't get in as a broadcaster...

If Ron Santo is on any other team than the 69 Cubs, I think he gets in. But the bottom line is that how can there be more 69 Cubs in the hall than the Big Red Machine. Santo is killed by the fact that there are already three guys in the hall from that team that never won anything.
