Just heard on the score that Andre Dawson made the HOF. I am sure he doesn't read the site but Congrats to him today.

Rumor was Boggs was going to get money in his Devil Rays contract to wear a Devil Rays hat so the Hall changed and now it picks, not the player.

In practice, it may just be veto power and the player picks. The Hall would just veto anything ridiculous. At least, that's how I hope it would work. I'm just theorizing.

A victory for those that know baseball. People that know sometimes the all around of a player makes up for a little lack in one area.

400 HRs and 300 SBs and 8 gold gloves. Name someone with one of the 3 that has the other 2 (I'll give you a clue there are 2 Bonds and Mays and one did it with a syringe up his butt).

And probably more support for Santo.

He's someone ided with the Cubs that even most Sox fans like.
