To me, it kinda does. I grew up watching and admiring him as a Cub.


I have a "Sports Room" with a lot of Dawson memorabilia. I'd love to add to that having something from the Hall Of Fame with him wearing a Cub hat.

I loved him too, but I dont need to be reminded that he is a Cub by the HOF. If he goes in as a Cub great, if not, that is great too. I am just glad he is there.

i love the old expos hat too. i got both the classic and the modern one. but the modern one is in horrible shape since i've used it while running for the past two years. so it's pretty disgusting.

Just my preference. I won't lose any sleep over it. If you look closely in my picture, I have an autographed photo of him wearing a Redsox uni.

i'd just be nice to see him with the C on the hat.

I'm not sure that they will want him to have the 'spos hat on the plaque. Cubs Nation is HUGE and is a much bigger draw to Cooperstown than the fanbase of an extinct team.

You know that thats a tri-colored script "M" an not a 'ELB'

I didn't know that until somewhat recently. Kinda like how people think the 80s Brewers logo is just a ball and a glove, but it really is a "M" "B"
