from an average 2 homeruns a year in the moners to TWENTY SIX in one year. .340 batting average his entire minor league career and then .640 and he's signed with the cubs.... ahem....

When he had his Rookie of the Year season, they had said that he had really worked hard during the winter before the 2008 season and was in far better shape....then last year, he was in poor shape and the results were awful. I hope this signals a return to the kind of season he had in 2008, or better. If they are going to have any chance of competing with the Cardinals, they need guys like Soto, Zambrano and Dempster to rebound and have good years.

Everyone suspects Andruw Jones was a juicing in Atlanta (and rightfully so). He got off the juice and turned into a fat slob. If he showed up to camp 40 lbs lighter everyone would suspect he's back on the juice (and rightfully so). What's the difference here??

when did geo get on the 40 man roster? minor league testing is far more strict than 40 man roster testing
