About fucking time. Hopefully he can learn a 2nd pitch that he can actually locate for a strike in Iowa.

Not a good start to things down in Iowa. There must have been an error preceding all of his base runners, but 3 walks is 3 too many. Hopefully he figures it out. I don't remember him being that bad when originally called. Actually 3 walks might not be that bad because it means he is probably working on pitches other than his fastball.

Besides learning new pitches (curve, change) he needs to learn to throw his fastball, using a 2 seam grip. That way he can get a lot more movement on it. I don't care if he throws 96-97. If the ball has no movement, that 96-97 MPH pitch is gonna get tattooed by major league hitters. He should have learned to throw a 2 seamer for strikes long ago. I have serious doubts that he will ever amount to anything.

He looks like the Bill Bonham of his time. Bill was actually better, but could have been great.
