Casey McGehee got the game winning hit? Well that's fitting.

I am just looking forward to trading away some of the people on this team and getting a fresh start down the road. Lee-gone, Lilly-gone, Nady-gone, Fontenot-gone, Anyone think we have a chance from getting rid of Fuku if we eat part of his salary? Would be nice to let Colvin play out the string in right

I wouldn't mind seeing one of the starters gone sooner that later. I want to see Thomas Diamond get a few major league starts just to see if he is worth anything. He was a huge Texas prospect alongside Danks back in the day, he just had some injuries derail him. He has a sub 3 era in iowa right now, but so does the shark if that says anything.

Welcome back Chad, here you go hit cleanup even though you've been awful in the majors this year. Glad Soto is giving Hill a couple days off. Theriot? Nady?

Go away Lou.

How pissed is the entitled veteran Lee right now. He is sitting right next to the hitting coach he thinks the team doesn't need on the pine right now. Maybe he is just counting the days till he arrives at his new home in orange county.

Yikes.

Last night's White Sox lineup wrote:
1 Juan Pierre LF
11 Omar Vizquel 3B
51 Alex Rios CF
14 Paul Konerko 1B
20 Carlos Quentin RF
7 Mark Kotsay DH
10 Alexei Ramirez SS
27 Ramon Castro C
15 Gordon Beckham 2B

Of those 18, there's about 4 that should be everyday starters. Fuckin, thats terrible.

edit: of course, that Sox lineup put up 15 runs last night so what the hell do I know

Off the top of my head, I'd say Soto, Byrd, Konerko, Rios.

The riot has apparently responded to the fire burning underneath his ass from the benching. That or the scratchiness from lou's beard.

Pretty awful caught-stealing, though.

lol way to fuck up a double rundown. Only the Cubs.

Tracy once again costing the team on the run down. This guy has been brutal today, striking out with men on 1st and 3rd with no outs, and messing up the easy throw to home. Dempster has been horrible also. It's obvious he was celebrating to much last night.

All true, but as a fan of this team I am a fan of winning when it matters, and for that to happen they need this so the dealing can begin. The thing about this team that pissed me off the most is last night on ESPN when one of the announcers said this team is only 6 back in the loss column and they are a winning streak or bat away from being right up there. Fuck that kind of thinking. This team needs a total rebuild and they have some good young talent in place and I am cool with watching a bunch of kids for a few years to get this ship righted.

I hope Lee felt like total douche sitting there on the bench while they couldn't covert with runners on and then with nady's error.

The Blackhawks are done now....Chicago baseball is all there is till Jul 30 when another shit team starts up. One nice thing about winning the Cup, only about 3 months of suffering through bad baseball and football till the Hawks open training camp again.

Who knows how credible this is but here it is anyways.
Quote:
I have a contact with access to the Cubs clubhouse. He said the clubhouse is a disaster right now (maybe this game will help). He said the latin players, led by Ramirez and Z, have completely walled themselves off from everyone else, to the point that they wouldn’t let them team haze Castro in the typical rookie fashion (carrying bags, etc). He said Ramirez has completely shut down, refuses to practice, and is barely willing to take the field for games. The team never turned on Soriano, despite all his struggles, because he worked his butt off, but the team is turning on Ramirez, because he doesn’t, and doesn’t see a problem with it.

Good, lets blow it up. Roster and ballpark. Raise ticket prices too while their at it and see how many dumb fucking Lemmings continue to march their asses into Wrigleyville.

I turned down face value Cubs Sox tickets for this reason. There is absolutely no way I will be spending money on this team until they show me they are committed to winning. If they want to blow it up, great, I will support that so long as it isn't just dumping payroll and they are trying to develop the farm system. This whole huge payroll, shitty team thing, I will not pay for that.
